The scariest thing ever is trying out for a sport.
#when I was 16 we had just moved to the US and I wanted to continue playing cricket but there was no local team#i emailed the national team and just said I used to play and they invited me to try out#however I couldn't go because it was on the other side of the country#but I legit believed that I could make the team#and now I won't try out for anything#because it is too scary and I know everyone would be at a way higher level than me#but I want to play sport so bad#I want sport to be my life#I'm trying to think the last time I tried out#And the answer is maybe Year 9 badminton which was like the only school sport where they actually had to cut people from the team#evidenced by the fact that I played basketball for the school#try outs legit sometimes prevents me from playing some sports
